This event features a wonderful display of art and fine crafts from 50 artists and artisans including photography, stained glass, handmade jewelry, wooden-ware, sculptures, and more. There will also be face painting, art projects for children, fireworks, and entertainment at the gazebo.

South Portland's 30th Annual Art in the Park Show & Sale.
Art in the Park is a wonderful local art show -- Mill Creek Park is a beautiful location, and there are 185 artists, which is enough to give variety but not so many that the public becomes overwhelmed. There are free activities for kids, there's a food court, and more! It's a very popular event with the artists and the public. This year will be the 30th annual!!!

The American Folk Festival will be held again on the Bangor Waterfront.

Former 1Ls Andrew Dawson and Bodie Colwell are helping Maine VLA this summer with all types of tasks, from legal research and correspondence to outreach and client intake. Andrew is receiving a scholarship from AmeriCorps for putting in an astounding 300 hours of work for us this summer, and likely will be the one to respond if you send emails to the "info" account.
